I have an under active thyroid. Meaning its easy to gain, luckily enough I am blessed with a quick metabolism but within the last two years ive gained 25 pounds. I dont look overweight but im not where I wanna be and not comfortable with how I look. Mind you...im use to being 125-135. Anyone else struggle with weight loss and health problems?

I had an underactive thyroid since birth. Had the whole thing removed in 2007. I really struggle. Weightloss is soooo slow. It can be quite disheartening. Its good to avoid cruciferous veg, soy products. Coconut oil, chilli, green tea and kelp/ sea vegetables help with metabolism. Cardio is your friend. I would throw in a bit of strength as well.
Hypoactive thyroid will make weight loss difficult, but dont make it an excuse for not being able to lose weight; if u control ur diet and do intense workout 4 to 5 times a week u can very well get back to ur desired shape.
