Yoga all the way.  Strengthens tones and relaxes.

I would be consulting my doc about this issue first though.

I worked with cardiac patients some time ago and the best activity to start was just plain walking... start at a slow and confortable pace for 15 to 20 mins increasing 5-10 mins per week. When u reach about 40 mins feeling good u can try light hand weights ( 2-5lbs). Of course, consult a doc first! There was a good book called Fitness Walking that gives a lot of tips check if amazon still have it.

I would go with walking aswell. Or a cycling trip. Easy to do slow for a longer amount of time.
