Sqaut rack as in a sqaut cage??? Or sqaut rack as n a smith machine??? I prefer bench press over sqauts because leg day is my least favorite ..but if u mean which do i prefer to use for bench press traditional bench or th sqaut rack also knwn as smith machine I've always liked utilizeing both...id never perform an eccentric bench press on a traditional bench but in a sqaut rack i can set th pens to catch th weight to do ths lift id take my max add 50-100lbs above tht number my training partner wud help me lift th weight id hold for a few seconds working concentric strength fight th negative motion of th lift till i can't th wait accerates down and th pins catch it..i performed ths on th floor in th sqaut rack so i cud work limit concentric and eccentric strength at th same time it also shocks ur cns central nervous system..th result is massive strength gains as well as mass..cant do tht on a bench but with a bench their is other benifits...so both ...im not sure i answered th question rite oh well
