I started my weightloss journey a month ago and for cardio ive been using "cto5k" and now im running 4k and almost finishing the app.
I recently heard that doing hiit for the same amount of time is better then a full run.. thoughts?
Hiit is really better. Its from my own experiance. I used to run 5 to 6 km but once i started hiit i felt lot of differenace and even if i do only 3.5 to 4 km still its better than normal run . So try hiit n then decide. Good luck
Personally i would go for hiit workout. But that doesnt mean at all that running doesnt work or has it role.
I would do interval training mainly cuz i dont ejoy long cardio sessions. But if you do a long run is perfectly fine.
Low intensity training helps u burn a lot f calories as u go thru it bt d moment u stop..d calorie burnin stops ...
However through HIIT ur metabolic rate remains high for hours even aftr u hv cmpleted d workout session
