Cardio is good to lose weight, and weightlifting (including bodyweight lifting) is a requirement to get muscle.
Combination of them, plus healthy diet would be perfect to get athletic toned muscular body I have dreamt of. I prefer a lean toned body to bulky one. Thus, cardio+weightlifting.
