Lose weight faster

I have one month for a fitness test and I need to get into shape specially by losing weight that I have gained. Please help any recommendations for work outs?

Circuit training, from what I've read, works well.
I'm not a professional but I research things alot.:-)

Cardio first works best, then Strength training at least 2x weekly
