Mixing strength work and running in same session
Hi was just wondering about mixing weights and running in same session ? Is it beneficial.' I want to build more muscle tone up and stay quick on the feet to any tips .
Hi, since running is cardio. You don't really need to do it. You may run for 3 or 5 min as a warm up. Focus on your technique when lifting weights. Remember that breathing is important.
I run a 5k before and after my crossfit workouts (but I am an avid runner) , I subscribed to crossfit mayhem and get wod's that really push you and keep your cardio up and really keeps you interested in working out and working new muscles
