Im about 25 - 30 lbs overweight. Should I drop 25 lbs before building muscle or start now overweight?

Start now, you'll lose fat when working out to build muscle.

body fat can be a great tool for building muscle and fats are a important part of gaining weight/muscle, what i mean by that is to build muscle you will need body fats, good fats (nuts, avocado) and to avoid bad fats, its not a secret that the most important thing for building muscle is diet, getting the right kilojoules for your body weight, the right protien for your workout, and the right carbohydrates for your exercise,
so in conclusion you should keep the weight and start bulking now if you are ready to diet and eat clean/healthy, if not you will have to lose the weight before building muscle and it will be a long long hard process.

i started 2 weeks ago with 186 lbs at 1,98m high... bodyfat 24%... now i'm on lowcarb and result after 2 weeks is 182 lbs an 23%...
