Hey skimblers, I need your advice. Currently I'm doing a 5 day split training each muscle once per week. But I would like to increase my overall fitness, cardio and fat burning. So, I'm thinking about switching to either a four-day upper /lower body spilt, for example: day 1 upper body, day 2 lower body, day 3 cardio/abs, day 4 upper body, day 5 lower body, day 6 cardio /abs & day 7 rest. Or, a three day full body split with reduced sets, for example: day 1 full body, day 2 cardio/abs, day 3 full body, day 4 cardio/abs, day 5 full body, day 6 cardio/abs and day 7 rest. Anyone have any advice on which is better for my particular fitness goals or if you have your own routine I'd love to hear it?! Thx skimblers, stay healthy and fit
Well honestly...I guess that I just do each body type untill really sore, or can't do any more. For example, pushups / tricep push ups, then squats / stretches / jumps, then abs. (So anoying, because a have to do like 100 of them to feel it, takes FOREVER!) Then back I guess. Waste down, lay it on a couch or something, secure it, then go up then down with your other body end. (You can hold barbells.) All in one day, for however many days you feel like.
