Hi, I had lower back surgery and was stuck in bed for a long time before and after. I put on alot of weight. But now I am so limited to the exercises I can do. I get told swimming is my best bet. But I don't wanna have to go to the ymca everyday. Any suggestions??
Start slow and build one day at a time. Do things you like because then you'll stuck with them. You can use the search and filter tools to find workouts and also walk.
We just did a challenge at work. 5000 steps a day for the first week and people built up to 10000 by increasing 1000 a day, each week.
So what do you like? Weights, aerobics?
