What is a good routine for begginer runners. Im not wanting to do races, just build endurance. Help me out please.

I liked Run this town and Running for beginners. With Run this town I ran a bit longer than I usually do even though it has warmup and cooldown walking. If you search the workouts for running there are several running workouts that you could try.

I have created a workout called "Fun Run 30". It's moderate and a good start. As you probably can't run for 30 min (yet, but will change soon if you start), you should go like this:

- start running slow for 3-5min, depending on how fit you are

- walk for 2-3min

- run for 3-5min

- walk for 2-3min

and so on


Do this three or four times a week, each time you run a little longer and walk less.


For the beginning:
Make sure you run slow! Most start too fast
Try to breathe in 3-4 steps and breath out the same
Drink a glass of water before you start


Or you start walking (fast) for 30-45min and increase speed a little with every walk you do until you run.
