Hey guys... My name is saurav and i am underweight so someone advised me to join a gym..so i decided to gain weight... can someone advise me ?
Eat a lot of calories. To gain weight you need to eat more than you burn. To make that weight gain more muscle than fat, it helps to eat good food, a high proportion of protein, and lift weights that are challenging. Go for big compound lifts like squats, deadlift, pullups, push-ups, bench press, rows, overhead press.
Give yourself time. Do not pay attention to the scale but how you feel and look. Eat a balanced diet. Gains will happen, be consistent, get plenty of rest and allow recovery time, that is important too. Always get clearance from your healthcare professional before starting an exercise program or diet.
