Hey guys... My name is saurav and i am underweight so someone advised me to join a gym..so i decided to gain weight... can someone advise me ?

Eat a lot of calories. To gain weight you need to eat more than you burn. To make that weight gain more muscle than fat, it helps to eat good food, a high proportion of protein, and lift weights that are challenging. Go for big compound lifts like squats, deadlift, pullups, push-ups, bench press, rows, overhead press.

it can help, it has protein and calories, both very important for gaining muscle weight, but if you use it as a substitute for other foods, you may still lack enough calories to gain weight
