Hey, it's me again, "Margret".... I'm serious about the need for folks in our age bracket to develop the habit of exercise.... Especially strength building exercise. I'm 63 1/2 years old. Three mornings a week I Squat and am up to 165 lbs 5x5. I should hit 225 lbs by Christmas. My deadlifts are at 225 lbs 1x5 and I hope to hit 300 lbs by Christmas. I also include bench presses, overhead presses, and bent over barbell rows (the rows are at 130 lbs 5x5). Each workout I add 5 lbs except on the deads, I add 10 lbs. now, I'm not bragging, just challenging folks of all ages to get off their butts and do something. I AM bragging about my last insurance physical where all my numbers were far better than doctor prescribed. They were excellent!
