What is the best lower back exercise? And for love handles?

Supermans , bird dog, elbow to knee bird dog. yoga bridges especially on a yoga ball :-) hour these help !

Planks work too, especially planks with leg lifts. Scissor kicks, leg lifts, flutter kicks, ... They all target your lower back muscles too. I advise you to stretch after doing these though!

Have you tried the ax ab chops and side V's?  Work very well for me.

Hate to say it, love handles are fat. I have them too, within reason they're a sign you've got lovely lady  curves- my man loves my hips haha! You'd need to do cardio to burn them off...if you were doing cardio along with these other suggested exercises, eventually the fat would go (from cardio) and the muscles underneath would be defined from the strength training.
