what muscles do burpees work?

Tbh they dont really work your muscles. But they do work your cardio system. If you do a pushup in the middle you work your chest and back.

Did atleast 50 of em yesterday and dont feel anything in my legs or back.

Burpees are great cardio mainly. But you get a decent amount of glute, quads, hamstring action in there I reckon

my current goal is to work my butt and legs and strengthen my core. I dont do cardio because I'm trying to build muscle I'm already skinny I don't need to lose I wanna gain lol

Don't do more than 12 and focus on the push-up after you thrust back and when you finish at the end be sure to push your weight through your hills as you explode up for the jump. Yes it's cardio but you're lifting your body weight and the cardio Is amped up after completing more than 10-12 so keep the # there.
