Any tips for speeding up the healing process for sore muscles? I would like to run with my dog on a more daily basis, but my calves burn the next day. He's a 119 lb great pyranese/ border collie puppy. He's quite the energetic running partner, and deserves a good running partner in return! Not really a sports related injury, but this seems to be the best place for this topic.

Protein! When you exercise the air in your muscles the air goes down and also your muscles are ripped. So protein helps build the muscles again... hope this helps!

How many times have this happend? It Will go away trust me.

If your really sore just go fore a walk, if your just a little sore go run. The soreness Will go away eventually.
