I've had this issue for several years and it's been getting worse. Whenever I do sit ups, crunches, leg lifts, pretty much anything laying down, my hip joints pop and crunch terribly. And it is NOT comfortable! It does not happen for lunges, squats, running, etc. I can barely do a sit up because of it!
Any suggestions? Are there exercises I can modify, is there a way to strengthen around that area first?
I can't do bicycles :-( But I will do more planks! And what are hundreds?
I've always had the same problem your not alone! But I'm not sure the reason either! I thought it was just me. That's something I'm going to ask a doctor now. It really is uncomfortable!
