Fast recovery tips

I injured my right upper thigh today. Any ideas/suggestions/tips for fast recovery? I can't do any exercise that involves leg movement and I don't want to keep away from workout for long.

If you have the money to spend, icy hot works wonders. If money is an issue, steady rotations between ice and any warm material is ideal, just don't strain your leg too much. Working through pain is good but if you work too hard you could tear a muscle or ligament and obviously that will set you back a lot. Stretching is a plus. Good luck!
