Is it ok to work out even if you are sore? I would rate my soreness a 2 on a scale from 1 to 10.

It's better to stretch wherever your sore and workout lightly than it is to rest if you're sore. I speak from personal experience haha

Sure it's ok just make sure you stretch.

Normally your muscles require 48 hours to recover and grow. So provided that you have already allowed them to rest for 48 hours, it's ok to workout even you feel the sore.
But be careful not to mix up the uncomfort feeling due to muscle injury with soreness due to overloading your muscles in workouts :)
