Hi I've been wondering if it's okay to eat in the evening. Around 8 or so. If so, what can I eat ?

All depend of your goals.

the CDC is the site my doctor recommends for current, science based information. http://www.cdc.gov/healthyweight/calories/index.html. This is the URL for the U.S. government site's recommendations. It doesn't matter WHEN you eat, but the calorie TOTAL for the whole day matters. I reserve calories for night time now so I can take certain medications, but also so I don't get hungry and eat too many calories.

Yes it is, as long as you eat something healthy and don't exceed your calorie goal for the day. I often eat something like Turkish yoghurt, cottage cheese, hazelnuts or almonds in the evening. What's healthy food of course depends on your diet.
