It's not that I need to lose weight, just need to get toned and fit. Any suggestions? Is 3-5 days enough? Please and thanks!

I would try for 5-6 days a week. Always take a day to rest.
3 to 5 days are enough. I workout 6 days a week. I'm like you, don't need to lose weight. I do more weights than cardio. I do some cardio for the heart healthy benefits. To really tone up you should do 5-6 days a week. Remember, muscle weighs more so you might actually weigh a little more when you step on the scale.
