Does dancing count as cardio?

I really hope it does!Aside from walking on the treadmill for half an hour,how long should I dance if I want to lose weight?

If you're moving it counts as cardio.

Yes it does count as cardio because your constantly moving and as for how long don't worry about the wieght will shed off before your eyes :)

As the others said, yes! Definitly counts as cardio!

When I first started working out I would do an hour or so of Just Dance (the video game) and I lost at least 10 pounds due to it!

Thats my favorite way to work out since its so fun!

I am sure it does. If anything, it's a confidence booster you have no issues shaking that booty at a party or a club (if your 21 :p)  trust   me I've got two left feet...I can't dance to save my life! After I started working out with the dancing with stars alone in my privacy, I felt less awkward about body. Nothing like building your stamina and dancing :)
