I'd like to lose 40lbs, ive already lost 10-13. I'm in no hurry. Hoping to lose it by next year or the following year. I know it sounds like a lot and i know im young, but im determined. I gained 50lbs after being abused. Anyways my question is Should i lose the fat first and tone later? Or Tone and lose weight at the same time? I don't wanna get flabby. Please help. Ill love you forever(: Thank you.

Tone after you lose it. You have to burn fat off in order to define the muscles. Burning fat is also a different workout then toning. Lose it, then tone!

I would suggest trying to do both at the same time. The best way to burn fat is to build (in your case tone) muscle and then the newly gained muscles will help you burn even more. :) hope this helped and good luck!

You need to loose weight first before you can tone, keep at it hun. I find slimfast for breakfast helps :)
