Protein shakes to help tone?

I want to start toning my legs to get a good shape. Would adding protein shakes to my diet help me tone up? Along with healthy eating and exercise, of course :)

Have you tried "ideal image protein shakes" 
They're really good I like the chocolate one, 
Also "itworks global protein shakes" both vanilla and chocolate :)

Oh, no I haven't tried that one. I have the Raw Meal brand in vanilla. I'll have to try that one though because I've been looking for a good chocolate. Thank you!
