Shins Splint

Ever get so excited about working out and going that extra mile? Well, I think I over did it with running and now I have mild shins splint. So I won't be able to run for a while. What are some other cardio and strength exercise I could do until I can start running again? (Without spending money to go to the gym to use their insanely expensive equipments)

Russian twists are great cardio as far as I'm concerned as your legs are in the air lifted by your abs but your upper body works just hard enough for it to have cardio benefits.

Most exercise that you do on the floor that doesn't put weight on your legs should work for you, but you will probably need longer workouts or higher reps.
