Losing weight

Is it possible to lose 8 pounds in a week? I eat about 1200 calories a day at the most and burn 1000 a day. I'm a female 5'5 and weigh 188

You're not eating enough if you're burning that many calories...your body is trying to survive on 200 calories and that's just not enough. Aim for 1500

Did what the doctor told me.....ate one salad a day and drank nothing but water....I felt so much better too!! Lately though, alot of people have been telling me to eat 7 meals a day (small ones). The one salad a day and plenty of water works best for me. Going to do it this week and see what my results are. Have also been told that losing weight is more about what you eat than working out, although excersise does our bodies good. You just have to find what works best for you, because a diet/excersise plan might work...
