I found this shake.. its 100 calories with 18g of protein and 1g of fat.  its by premier protein n u can get a box of em n take one on the go.  besides that id jus eat meats low in fat like chicken or get ya some deer meat.

I eat mostly chicken and tuna. I have to look into extra lean ground beef cuz i read somewhere that it's ok, i just kind of started avoiding red meats without doing any calculating.

I've been looking at all these different protein shakes lately, whey, hemp, pea, vegan mixed protein...thinking I might get two or three just to have variety. There's tons of products out there, its tough to sort through.

Yeah I gotta look into the fat vs. protein vs. overall calories of some lean red meat. I think we all got the same idea "red meat = bad" but if the fat content is low and the protein per calories is good then why not? I bet its a good rule of thumb to avoid red meat but is that because we don't pay attention to whether its extra lean? Or because we often eat it on a bun with special sauce and a side of fries? Maybe its not so bad prepared in the right way. Gonna go...

I was just on nutritiondata.self.com and wow they got a lot of info. 95% lean ground beef doesn't look all that great for fat per calories (85 cals fat in 185 total cals) chicken breast wins hands down... Steak is a whole other story. They have like 160 different results for steak and "grass fed strip steak lean only" looks pretty awesome but regular steaks even trimmed to zero fat start getting less awesome and anything with 1/8" fat on it is like 50% fat calories. I only looked at a few, i don't know that much about steak and...

Tuna i just worry about mercury, so I'm looking into stuff like chlorella which helps get rid of mercury.
