Spiced apple and squash soup

Serves 4
1 tbsp of extra Virginia olive oil
1 small onion chopped
1/4tsp chilli flakes ( personally I added a bit more for more kick )
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 butternut squash deseeded and sliced
2 Braeburn apple cored and diced
1 litre low sodium kallo organic vegetable stock

Method
1 heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the onion for 3-4 min
Add the chilli,cinnamon squash and apples and cook for 1-2 min

2. Add the stock,cover and bring to the boil, then simmer for 15 mins until tender. Purée using a hand held blender,season to taste

Going to try this week. Any idea on calorie count?

4 serving Just over 200 cal Plus 5 gr roasted pumpkin 31 So total under 250 cal per serving

Nice!..sounds like a great fall recipe I'd have most of that growing here in my garden
