Restarting gym: need routine

In have worked out for over 6yrs but have missed out for the last year or so - I'm over weight by about 22pounds - my muscles build real quick - I'm concerned about losing the extra weight - can anyone suggest a routine that will help shed the extra weight within a time frame?????
