Are there any good workouts to boost my metabolism?
There is only one tissue in the human body that is metaphorically active....and of course that tissue is muscle. So there the more lean muscle mass you have the higher your metabolism will be both during exercise and at rest. So any exercise program designed to increase lean muscle mass through weight training, cardio and diet is the way to go. There is no magic behind it just good old fashion hard work. Your focus in you programs should emphasis weight training as that will build your muscle.
Eating can"jumpstart" your metabolism but you have to do it the right way and it all starts with eating a sensible and healthy breakfast first thing in the morning and then eating several small meals throughout the day. If you skip meals or wait a long time between eating your metabolism will slow down so you must keep it going and elevated throughout the day.
