Do I have to have a rest day? I just want to work out everyday but the internet says I need a rest day.

Youvget more out of your muscles if you let them rest every once in a while instead of being worn out.

I hate rest days too lol. I throw in some light yoga on my rest day to make it easier. That and/or light impact like taking a walk through the park :)

Let your body be your guide for rest. If you notice your workouts are declining( either by doing less weight.or reps than before, then you need a break). If you do train everyday don't due the same muscle groups back to back and mix in a light workout of stretches, low level cardio or yoga.
