Exersise to gain weight?

Hi guys im wanting to know if anyone else is actually doing this to gain weight? I am a petite 39kg and going down hill.... i should be 50 kg..im hoping with drinking lots of water and eating 3 meals plus exersise might get me on the right track has this worked for anyone else?

If you want to gain weight you need to eat more. High density foods are always great to gain weight. Peanut butter. Rice, massed, potatoes, cerials, oats, etc. 

Eat what you eat now and add two portions of the above foods in between or after you meals. Also try to increase your portion sizes Just make sure you eat much more food Then you do now.

Thanks thats exactly what im trying to do but working full time plus study and being a mum of two food generally gets second best but have a plan in place to eat twice as much as I do now :)

Dont forget to drink optimum amount of water...

You have to eat many carbs and protein and do strength workouts.

Eat eat and eat some more! Try to eat quality foods if possible, spread throughout the day. Chicken breasts are your friend!  If you can only find time to snack make some oat and protein cookies to nibble on and if you can tolerate it a glass of milk in the evening with extra milk powder to enrichen it. Good luck

Lol I am trying but doc rekon its in vain due to my metabolisim being so precise it doesnt let food really affect me much but im still going to try.....and I love chicken breast!! Haha I do tend to eat 4 times more at night I noticed and thought sleeping on a full tummy might build up the fat...

Me too Kristoni! But i have this problem where i sleep it off. Opposite to how it should be haha but, i have atleast managed to gain 1kg and keep it :-) :-)

Hi! I also want to gain weight and build muscles. Thanks for all the good advices! I also heard that its very important to have a balanced nutrition. Eating only proteins doesnt help you to gain weight. So if you find the time, maybe you can add the app 'Lifesum' onto your mobile. It counts your daily amount of calories, proteins, carbs and fats!! I love this app in combination with skimble! Sorry for my english :) Regards, Lavinia..

I am roughly 5ft 2... I am very little...lol but I should be at least 50kg going by the doc :)
