And any alternatives to white rice aside from brown rice?

Grate cauliflower and steam cook, temper it with coming seeds, you will have a healthy alternative of rice. Enjoy

the average daily intake for a normal adult is 310g carbohydrates but who wants to be average?
now if you want to be healthy and not average than how many carbs you have will change depending on your diet i.e if you eat 1500 cals a day your carbs should be between 170 - 244g if you eat 2500 cals it should be 281 - 406g.

white rice actually has less fat, less sugar, less sodium and more protein than brown rice just eat healthier alternatives than normal jasmin but brown rice has less carbs,
the healthiest thing to do is rotate have white rice, brown rice, couscous, lentals, chickpeas ect
