Calorie counting is extremely beneficial. It's just kind of a pain in the ass hahah good luck with everything. Hope you stick with your plans.
I love tracking my calorie intake. When I started doing it I learned a lot about nutrition, super foods and correct portion sizes. Made a huge difference for my progress and increased my will power! Good luck :-)

After a few months you can usually guess how many cals you've had if you eat a lot of the same things. :)
