Read the book "warrior diet".
Don't believe in the quick fix. I don't know how much you want to lose but there are many factors involved. You have to read and learn about mechanisms of the body. This is a great book and if you can change habits and time when you eat carbs. You will be a lean fat burning machine. Permanent weight loss is a more long term mission because you must kill the fat cell
