should I start drinking protein shakes to loose weight? if so when?

Protein shakes aren't so much to lose weight but to gain muscle... but the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn...

Well you don't really need protein shakes :/ just do weight training and intense cardio after. Always eat rich protein foods after your workout.

If you replace something unhealthy with a protein shake then yes. For example instead of getting the crunch wrap supreme at Taco Bell have a protein shake. But if you already eat healthy then you don't need it...usually.
