I've been working out for 2 weeks and I'm over weight. I just want to know if i should start lifting weights while I'm losing weight or after?
Lift some weights now...this is important as when losing weight you dont just lose fat but also muscle..
Light weights will help keep that muscle and the added benefit of toning them.
Keep up with the weight lifting. You'll build muscle. Get stronger. That'll help you perform better when you're doing cardio. Just remember muscle is denser than fat so your scale might not show weight loss even though you have burned a lot of fat because gained muscle mass. Good luck
