Anyoneusing myfitnesspal???? I enrolled there with goal of 0.75 kg per week...and it says i will loose 2 kgs by 19 feb....hows that possible??? Should not it be 3.75 kgs?
The estimations of weight loss genereated by MyFitnessPal are just that, estimations. If you're referring to the screen that appears when you submit your food journal you'll notice that it says "If every day were like today" and they mean EXACTLY like today. So if you're eating to lose .75 kg per week and eat exactly at your prescribed calorie levels then yes you will lose 3.75 kg in 5 weeks.
Don't get too caught up on the estimations. Eat well, drink lots of water, and stay at your calorie limit and things will move in the right direction.
Myfitnespal is quite useful for tracking your caloric intake (finally includes a barcode scanner!)
But estimations for weight loss are not a reliable tool. As your activity level, and your amount of rest may fluctuate.
Use myfitnesspal to track your caloric intake, And experiment until you find the deficit that allows you to burn fat while keeping your energy levels stable.
