It's fine. Pay attention to how you feel. I often won't do it cuz I'm sensitive to caffeine and working out with it can make me feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack, but a lot of people use it before working out.

I drink coffee all the time. The only negative side effect of caffeine is it restricts blood flow. So I try to avoid caffeine before workouts as I want my blood to flow as much as possible.
