Average weight loss

How long (average) does it take for an individual to start seeing weight loss changes? Is a fast/slow metabolism a myth?

It depends on you. Your calorie intake your eating habits and what you are doing fitness wise. If you are doing weights then you may actually gain weight (muscle weighs more than fat) first. Then you may also loose inches before loosing weight. Myself personally it took a month for me to see the scale change but I have loss inches and build muscle so I'm happy.

Do you mean seeing as in seeing change in the mirror? That can take over a month or even more.
