Are there any benefits for my body, besides thighs, that i can get by cycling?

I personally like it for the cardio. I had ACL and meniscus surgery a couple of years ago and cycling helped me get the runners high I would crave when I was recovering. Now I mixed my cardio and run some days and cycle other days to give my knee a rest.
