1: work your abs just like any other muscles. Rep range should be from 12-15 reps. Its ok to train them with higher reps sometimes
2: be sure to contract your abs. I see people in the gym doing leg lifts so fast like there in a race.
3: hit your lower abs first. The lower abs is where most guy's & women hold there belly fat at.
4: bodyfat. The lower your bodyfat % is the better your abs will show.
5: add some high intertval training in on one of your core training days.
Haha well like said surgery, but this is skimble of course we are not going to do that.
