I am pre hyper-tensive and have heard great things about the DASH diet. I work out 3 to 4 times a week and would like to now focus on a diet to help calm the blood pressure. Anyone have any good cookbooks or website suggestions that they have tried? Thanks
Thanks for the suggestions, I have been thinking about calling a dietician. Also bread is a weakness for me. So makes sense about the salt. A dietician could help me see these things from my good diary.
I have not noticed any but I do know today after this I did not use bread at breakfast and I needed to snack faster. May be a transitioning thing. My snack was yogurt and granla. I feel satisfied.
Chocolate makes me breakout.
Meat is heavy after lunch but coffee picks me up.
