in a year I've only lost 50 pounds and 3 dress sizes, but now it seems like I'm not losing anything any more. I feel like im gaining weight. I do random workouts while at work and 1 hour after work.
is there something I can do to start losing weight again.
start weight was 235
now I'm 183
goal weight by December is 150

I'd agree that it's time to keep a journal of your food and really look at where your nutrients are coming from. Eating more protein and whole grains will help. Eating six times a day helps stabilize your blood sugar and wake up your metabolism. If your nutrition is spot on then it's time to start lifting heavier. You are at a plateau, but your journey doesn't have to end

For me, it has been all about counting macros. I do 50/30/20 percentages. Also make sure you are drinking enough water because our brains like to trick is into thinking we want food when it really only needs fluid. Stick to it and don't be too hard on yourself. You got this!

Have you tried counting calories? Put you information into a calorie calculator then subract about 500 to 1000 per day? Eat more protein, eat complex carbs instead of somple ones, drink plenty of water...

My suggestion is first play attention to how your body react to what you eat and start slowly changing habits permanently. Is not much about diets cause is very common not work longer, I believe that balance is everything.

Stop eating bread and flour based foods immediately. Eat healthy fats,  avocado,  fish,  nuts etc.  Eat lots of healthy fibre from vegetables n fruit but go easy on too much sugar from fruit,  also stay away from starchy veges,  potatoes.  Green tea to boost your metabolism and choose the leanest proteins.  Your welcome

I'd recommend taking up a dietitian service? I was overweight for quite a while and was unable to go to any gym due to my work. I was told going to a dietitan might help with this. I was browsing the internet and found out that they have a good dietitian at this place called Focus Physiotherapy, near my place in Mississauga. I guess having someone knowledgeable in this matter chart up a list could go a long way in helping you stick to a strict diet, especially a professional. What do you think?

You should avoid junk and oily foods. Also avoid rice. You can eat a small amount of rice with large amount of half cooked veggies. Sometimes diet maintenance or workouts may result in loose body. This is because this may lead to a sudden weight loss which makes your skin shrink at the same rate as your fat cells. This imbalance can make your skin loose. So instead of this you can try losing your weight slow and steady. You can add few spices in your food which will be helpful in weight loss. You can check out this list http://www.hortonspicemills.com/listing.php?pid=69. Here turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne, cumin, ginger, black pepper are scientifically proven to lose your weight. This will be the easiest method. You can have a tasty food with the benefit of weight loss.
