How do I lose weight in a week ?

I love eating, am not so big but I've gained weight and I feel uncomfortable in my own skin. What should I do ?ive cut back on my eating but it's not helping

First off, excellent goal! Second, it's not just cutting back on eating, but WHAT you're eating. Losing weight is as simple as calories in vs calories out. Losing 1 pound means burning roughly 3500 calories more than you consume. A healthy goal would be half a pound to one pound of weight loss per week. That would mean, around a 500 calorie deficit per day. Try counting calories with an app such as My Fitness Pal. Learning to read nutrition labels is extremely important as many times people consume more calories than they think. Besides calories, macro nutrients also come into play, such as fats, carbs, and proteins, since this is where calories come from. Hope this helps. Feels free to ask anything!

Thanks a lot Calvin. I appreciate it. Most diet plans say I should eat a lot of protein and less carbs though. Are you able to throw a simple diet plan that can help me? Am so determined but my work doesn't allow me to work out a lot so I need to depend on cutting back on food and how I eat.

I drink at least half my body weight in water DAILY. I also cut out sugar and started using very limited amounts of stevia instead. Because I did not exercise regularly, I started out lightly as regime is ddoctor-prescribed to fit my ailments...and I listen to what my body tells me it can handle as I slowly increase my time and intensity.
