Help me I want to lose weight

Hi my name is Drake and I am a month away from being a 12 year old and I am 5'3 and I weigh 120 something pounds and I feel like I am overweight and need to lose weight I also have a lot of belly fat so can you please help me I really need to lose weigh.

P.S (I'm a boy)

Hi Drake.
I think it is excellent that you are taking your health so seriously at such a YOUNG age.
The thing is, you are GROWING and if you haven't hit puberty yet, you will most likely do so very shortly.
Often times, before GROWTH SPURTS our bodies store a little extra baby fat and then we SHOOT UP LIKE BEANSTALKS. 
Please be careful about your body image and losing weight, you don't want to get so caught up in this that you stunt your growth and end up doing something to your body you will regret later in life-trust me, I know from personal experience.

If you want to lose a little weight, eat more fruits, veggies, lean meats like chicken and fish and whole grains if you can and when you can.
If you can't, try healthier options like like baked chips instead of fried chips BUT HONESTLY, you won't be able to eat like this with whatever you want for too much longer, once you get older and i your 30s-sooo old, I know :-)

Just try cutting down portion size a little more, drinking more water, trying healthier options and getting exercise!
At your age, just going for a walk outside will have you losing so much weight in the drop of a hat-just font over do it and honestly, you don't sound that heavy.

Staying fit isn't an art or science, it's just basic smarter choices and self discipline. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
