Does weight matter? I am 112 pounds and have a lower belly pooch and want to workout. Does my weight matter? What should I do

I came off a wt management program that encourages us to put away the scale and only weigh every 6 weeks. I gage how I'm doing by how my clothes fit. I used to weigh every day and if my wt went up i felt bad and if my wt went down I felt good. I am so tired of the yo yo effect on my emotions. So now I don't weigh except every 4 months or so. Right now I am not eating in a controlled manner so I started recording my intake on MyFitnessPal and doing these work...

No, weight doesn't matter. But yes, how you feel does matter. What do you want? Health concerns come up with too much weight, but really, happiness and self love are the healthiest ways to live, regardless of weight.

A belly pooch is pretty normal in people who aren't doing fitness model levels of work to avoid it.

I still recommend working out and eating healthy, since it makes you feel so good!

Weight doesn't matter . If you lose a little belly pouch you won't be losing that much weight anyway lol fat doesn't weigh that much . Do a little more cardio and add a few ab workout regimens to your program and you'll lose it .

Your weight doesn't tell you how much fat you have.   One of the most interesting demos I saw was one where similar body types and one was heavier and more shapely than the other.   You hear that muscle weighs more but I couldn't wrap my head around that.
