Ok please someone help me!
Honestly, I would take it easy for awhile. Maybe try to figure out where exactly the pain is originating from. The anatomy of the knee is relatively simple. Bone bone tendon (connects muscle) meniscus (inside cartilage) and 4 ligaments (connects bone to bone). A visit to MD is def. warranted if after resting it still is painful, and or there is swelling, redness, or warmth.
Depends where the pain originates from? If is in the front of the knee i would rest, as it could be a cartlige irratation (someone mentioned swimming and Thats great advice), from my experience if its in the side of the knee, it could be you quads and the layering of connected muscles there are tight and are pulling on the knee (its all connected) i get side knee pain alot and go to a Physio to rectify this when it really hurts (i can walk up stairs but coming down them is so painfull) Just explore every avenue you can to figure out the source of the problem and it will make it easier for you to work with it Goodluck, and hope you feel better soon xx
