Weights burn calories even after you have stopped lifting. They dont need to be heavy wieghts either.

There r many sports & activities that burn calories...every1 here mentioned some also rope jumping- skating -martial arts.etc....just choose someting that u like the most & can do regularly & have fun with it...

Boxing, squash which is very good for anarobic conditioning due to the stop start sprinting and works your bum really well lol.
Running can burn alot of calories and they also have an afterburn effect , you would still burn calories even if you have finished running
