Tips to doing longer planks.

I've recently just started doing them this week and I can only get to 7 seconds right now. Any tips to go longer ?

Just keep doing them, ur time will build the more u do them

Remember to breathe and use your abs. Inhale first then exhale on the lift. Then keep breathing! It takes a lot of arm strength to hold a full plank. Try leaving fore arms on the floor until you can hold longer. :-)

Keep practicing, if you keep doing them you will gain more strength on your core :) Good luck!!

Like bryan said, multiple sets with a certain amount of rest. Next day do same amount of set but reduce rest time by 5 sec per day or week.
